NEW CLIENTS
Prior to your appointment you will receive a “pre-check form” linked to your SMS reminder that you must complete prior to your appointment. This is to ensure the safety of your treatment and to prepare our clinicians for your appointment. If this is not filled out, you will be required to fill it in when you arrive to the clinic before going ahead with your treatment. You will receive this before every appointment visit with The Aesthetic Skin Clinic to ensure we keep up to date with any medical changes.
As mentioned, all new clients require a skin consultation. We need to see your skin in it’s natural state to recommend a custom treatment and home-care prescription. We also need to analyse what could be causing your concerns. We will want to know anything and everything that goes on to your skin, so make a list of your product names and brands - bringing them in also helps (this way we can check ingredient labels and help provide the best advice).
Please be open minded. Skincare is often best left to professionals, so although you might be interested in a specific treatment we offer, if it is going to do more harm to your skin we will recommend a treatment that will work well with your current skin health.
Please note; for all laser skin therapies such as laser pigmentation removal, laser vascular therapy and our IPL procedures, a test patch is required 24-48 hours prior to full treatment. This is to ensure we can provide 100% safety at all times to our patients and achieve the best results possible.
There may also be some procedures we perform in clinic that require a “skin prep” prior to having the treatment. For example, we can not do a deep peel on a patient that has never had any treatments and not using appropriate skincare. If so, this can compromise the skin causing further complications.
PRE + POST CARE PRODUCT
Some procedures we perform in clinic may require pre & post care corrective products as a “skin prep” to ensure appropriate care for the treatment area. This is also to ensure we limit associated risks involved. For certain procedures this is a non-negotiable however this will be discussed with you at the time of your consultation and/or before the treatment.
APPOINTMENT REMINDERS
A notification reminder will be sent via SMS 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment along with a notification email. We understand that you may need to change your booking from time to time and we kindly request that you provide us with a minimum of 24 hours notice so that we can offer that appointment to another patient. If sufficient notice is given, (24 hours), you will not lose your booking deposit or prepaid treatment. This policy is to confirm your commitment to attending the scheduled appointment and to protect The Aesthetic Skin Clinic’s interests in the incident of late cancellations or no show appointments

BOOKING FEES + CANCELLATIONS
Every clients time is valuable and we will do our utmost best to respect your time. Therefore, due to our commitment to providing the best possibly experience for all of our patients, we have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy.
A non-refundable 50% booking fee is required for all of our skin appointments. The deposit will come off the total of the treatment on the day of your appointment. You may wish to keep this deposit on your account for future bookings.
For cancellations and no show of appointments within 24 hours, the fee will be forfeited as a cancellation fee. If you have a prepaid treatment and no deposit, a prepaid treatment will be forfeited as a cancellation fee.
PAYMENTS
At The Aesthetic Skin Clinic we accept all major card payments including AMEX. We also accept cash, Afterpay and Zippay. Unfortunately we do not accept bank cheques. All appointments performed on the day must be paid in full that day. If you fail to pay for your treatment or products on the day or leave the premises without paying or knowledge of the therapist, you will forthwith be banned from the clinic and all future appointments will be cancelled.
In this circumstance, The Aesthetic Skin Clinic holds the right to legally pursue this incident. All Afterpay & Zippay payments are available to be used on all skin treatments, products and packages with a minimum spend of $150. We strongly advise to create these payment accounts prior to your appointment to ensure you are eligible and approved. The Aesthetic Skin Clinic has no involvement with these payment services eligibility requirements or repayments.

REFUNDS
The Aesthetic Skin Clinic does not provide refunds in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
When a prepaid treatment package is purchased, the client consents that the fee paid for the pre-paid package or treatment is non-refundable, including in the event that a clients personal circumstances may change, the client can no longer attend or chooses to terminate their treatment package. We do not offer a refund in the event of a change of mind. You agree to this once you process your payments with the clinic.
PREPAID TREATMENTS
For all prepaid treatments, packages and services are. For this factor, The Aesthetic Skin Clinic does not provide refunds (please see refund policies). You agree to this once you process your payment with The Aesthetic Skin Clinic. This is mentioned in The Aesthetic Skin Clinic’s initial consultation forms and also all of our consent forms. It is also stated on our website under our clinic policies.
Prepaid treatments are non transferable to another client or to another area of the body. If you wish to discontinue the prepaid treatments, we are happy to transfer the dollar amount to another treatment or product within the clinic. If a client is a no show on the day to an appointment or a cancellation within a 24 hour period and holds no deposit on file, a prepaid treatment will be forfeited for our therapists time.
CHILDREN IN CLINIC
At The Aesthetic Skin Clinic the experience of all clients is extremely important to us. Our priority is to always perform procedures in the safest and most peaceful environment possible. We operate class 4 medical grade lasers, light based technology and electric machinery that moves around treatment rooms and the clinic that carry serious risks. For this reason, children under the age of 12 are not permitted in our treatment rooms or left unsupervised in the clinic. We also do not have the capacity for our staff to care for your children while you are having a treatment done.
We have late night appointments available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday until 8pm.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Our gift vouchers are not redeemable on injectables or cosmetic tattooing. The Aesthetic Skin Clinic provides gift vouchers for all dollar amounts and treatments (other then injectables and cosmetic tattooing). Gift vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase and are not redeemable after the end date. Any lost vouchers cannot be replaced and “no show” to appointments after booking will mean the voucher can no longer be used. The voucher must be brought in with you on the day or it can not be redeemed. Vouchers are non transferable to another client.
DISCOUNTS + PROMOTIONS
From time to time we run promotional specials and discounts on treatments and products in clinic.
Unfortunately any earned rewards or complimentary credits and discounts we give to you can not be used on already discounted treatments, products or packages. Complimentary credits and rewards given by us to you are available on all full priced treatments and products and cannot be "stacked" upon each other.
