DMK ENZYME THERAPY
DMK Enzyme Therapy works with the internal functions of the skin to increase circulation, oxygenation and lymphatic drainage by using reverse osmosis to ‘back flush’ fluids through the cell wall, leaving a clean clear, toxin free matrix. Enhances collagen production strengthening and firming the skin, and also induces a ‘plasmatic effect’ in the skin by dilating the peripheral capillaries and improving cellular oxygen uptake and delivering fresh nutrients to the skin. Enzyme Therapy is the only treatment of its kind in the world and uses transfer messenger enzymes to enhance optimal skin function.
Who is the treatment suitable for?
Enzyme Therapy is suitable for all skin types and conditions. Enzyme Therapy will improve the appearance of:
Pigmentation and uneven tones
Acne and congestion
Rosacea and diffused redness
Lack-lustre dull skin
Impaired barrier and sensitised skins
Psoriasis and eczema
How does Enzyme Therapy work?
DMK’s signature treatment Enzyme Therapy works on the internal structure and functions of the skin to ensure the skin is in optimal health. Enzyme Therapy increases circulation creating a lymphatic drainage throughout the skin whilst stimulating collagen production, flushing dead cell material, bacteria and toxins.
Are Enzyme Therapy treatments painful?
The treatment is pain free. The patient feels the enzyme mask applied on the skin which can become heavier over 30 minutes when left on. This process can feel a little unusual however no pain or discomfort is associated.
Is there any downtime after the treatment?
This completely depends on the level of enzyme and pre exfoliation used on your skin which will be determined in your initial skin consultation. You can experience no downtime to mild flaking or dryness for up to 24-48 hours post treatment depending on the above. Sun exposure is to be avoided throughout the downtime with an SPF to protect your skin and your results.
When will I notice results?
Results can be seen instantly post enzyme with the skin being dewy, hydrated, glowing with a healthier overall appearance. Any redness or uneven tones are slightly diminished and true results can be seen one week post treatment.
How many sessions will I need?
A course of Enzyme Therapy treatments recommended for best and long term results. Generally a course of 6 sessions will be recommended in your initial skin consultation however this can differ from patient to patient.
How often can I have Enzyme Therapy?
Enzyme Therapy treatments are recommended weekly to fortnightly and then spaced out further once your desired result is achieved.
